It’s an exciting time to join us: KMPT has been rated Outstanding for Caring and Good overall in our most recent CQC inspection in January 2017!

We are looking for a practitioner who is motivated to work with this exciting and evolving service and have a focus on developing, facilitating and evaluating recovery groups. The role will also include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual treatment plans, leading on occupational needs assessments and providing opportunities for service users to attend recovery groups.

Currently the EIP service works with people aged 14-35 however in the next few months, the service will develop to work with people aged 14-65 to meet the new Access and Waiting Time standards. Experience of working directly with people experiencing psychosis is essential. Applicants need to be able to work flexibly, creatively and be responsive to the needs of this client group and their carers.

You will be directly employed by Kent & Medway NHS Partnership Trust and subject to Trust terms and conditions.

You will be benefiting from encouragement to continue to develop your own specialist skills, knowledge and competence through participation, reflection, supervision and training and your development will be guided using the Trust’s appraisal process.
