Are you an experienced Oncology nurse looking for a new challenge? TTM are currently recruiting Stem Cell nurses for a prestigious London hospital.. Stem Cell Nurse Oncology Central London Permanent, FT - 37.5 hrs   Up to £36,000 TTM are currently recruiting Stem Cell nurses to work in a very prestigious private hospital in Central London. They have several units spanned across two prestigious areas of London focused on providing world-class treatment to their patients. They have an expansive team of over 300 consultants who are supported by expertly qualified nurses offering care in various specialities including: Diagnostic & Radiology services, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Urology, Cosmetic, Dialysis & Endoscopy. The hospital itself has 250 beds, 12 theatres and endoscopy suite and a large ICU department.     Days only roles and Nights only roles available.   Responsibilities:   Reporting into the ward manager you will be responsible for planning and delivering appropriate care to patients using the Roper Logan and Tierney model. Part of your role will involve adopting a holistic and pro-active approach to patients with oncological/haematology care needs. You will comply and promote infection control standards and co-ordinate with other team members to ensure patients to be readmitted are rescheduled and booked according to procedure. Maintaining a safe environment for patients under your care will be part of your daily responsibilities along with any other ad hoc duties required by senior members of staff.   To be considered for this role you would have:
  • Registered General Nursing Degree
  • NMC Registration
  • Experience of working on Oncology
  • Familiar with stem cell transplant process
  • Master's Degree or working towards
  • Keeps up to date with oncological conditions and diseases and current practice in this field.
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of staff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
