We are looking to appoint a Registered Children’s Nurse at SPIRE Leeds Hospital, where you will be responsible for planning the care and management of children across many specialities throughout their hospital journey predominantly in the Outpatients and radiology Departments.
With your skills and experience you will assess, plan and implement high standards of nursing care ensuring that your patient has the best possible experience. You will be joining us at an exciting time where you will have the ability to help the team shape the service going forwards ensuring that our paediatric patients receive outstanding care.
As an essential part of our small Paediatric team, you will work mainly in the Outpatients and radiology departments, being managed by the Outpatients Lead Nurse; you’ll deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care. We offer a wide variety of specialities which will broaden your skills in a modern hospital with fantastic facilities. You will have the time to put patients first - our reputation depends upon it. You’ll enjoy the variety of working within different specialist areas .You will need to be flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, due to the timings of some clinics.
As a Registered Children’s Nurse, you will be responsible for the care and management of both children and adults attending a variety of clinics. You will achieve competencies for looking after adults attending the clinic and be under the supervision of the Registered General Nurse in charge of the shift in outpatients. Your skills and experience will enable you to assess, plan and implement high standards of nursing care ensuring that your patient has the best possible experience.
