Quality Support Manager (Care Sector)

My client has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Quality Support Manager to become part of their dynamic and experienced team.The role will be varied but will involve supporting Home Managers within the portfolio to ensure that the highest standards of personalised care is being provided to residents, in line with company and CQC standards.
You will be responsible for supporting Home Managers with quality audits, creating and implementing action plans if required, motivating and developing staff when necessary, liaising with CQC, effectively managing relationships with the local authority and other external professionals, increasing occupancy levels where necessary and investigating safeguarding incidents. You will also be required to cover Home Manager absences for short periods at a time.
You will work with the team to ensure that they understand the importance of their roles and the need for continuous improvement to ensure that high standards are maintained. You must have residential, nursing and dementia care home experience and knowledge.
The successful must have a proven track record of troubleshooting and quality support, and will ideally have worked in a multi-site role previously. This role is ideal for a Peripatetic or Compliance Manager, or those who have moved within a portfolio at management level to improve standards.
