Job Description

Regional Operations Director, Midlands/South area
Salary: circa £70k per annum + car + benefits

Experts2care are working with an established Care/Nursing Home group to recruit an experienced Regional Operations Director to work across their Midlands/South region which comprises of 5 elderly nursing/residential care homes. This role would suit a clinically knowledgeable and experienced candidate in Residential Nursing Care Settings.

The company are an established healthcare provider that operate Care Homes throughout the United Kingdom providing high-quality professional care for residential, nursing, dementia, complex needs and young physically disabled residents.

Main duties for Regional Operations Director:

As Regional Operations Director you will be responsible for overseeing all homes in the region.

You will work closely with the Management teams in each home to ensure CQC compliance.

You will implement new systems, perform quality audits and inspections and assist Home Managers with training staff appropriately. 
You will ensure an innovative, active, and progressive care service, utilising best practice guidelines , while ensuring residents safety and welfare is of paramount importance at all times.

You will be expected to cover for Home Managers in their absence.

You will work closely with the senior management team to decide business strategy

There will be a strong focus on business and CQC regulations

Job Requirements

Main Requirements for Regional Operations Director:

A Nursing qualification is preferred as clinical skills and experience is important.
Experience in a similar type of multi site role within an elderly Nursing care business is essential.

Strong clinical skills and experience are essential.
Strong, clear leadership skills and staff management experience are essential to be successful in this role.
You will have good networking and interpersonal skills.
A good understanding and experience of CQC and CHC standards and compliance and the ability to manage external agencies is very important.

Business and financial acumen is essential
