Registered Nurse ( RGN / RMN / RNLD )

•    Location: Walton-on-Thames, Surrey
•    Salary: £27,000 - £31,500 per annum based on 42-hour contract - negotiable depending on experience, qualifications and capabilities

•    Hours: Full Time or Part time
•    Shifts: Days or Nights
•    Contract type: Permanent

*Salary Equivalent to NHS Band 5 & 6*

*£1000 Welcome Bonus for all new nurses that join the company*

We are currently looking for someone who will play a key role within this care home as a Registered Nurse in the Surrey area. This stunning home is set within acres of tranquil grounds which provides a safe relaxing atmosphere for all residents. The dedicated team provide round the clock care at the highest level including palliative, Parkinson’s and respite care. You will play a key role within the home, taking the time to get to know our residents and their families, so you can ensure the best possible person centred care is delivered.

•    Someone who can demonstrate passion for caring for others as well as helping people maintain their independence and choice in homely surroundings
•    A proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team, delegate effectively and promote excellent customer relationships
•    A willingness to coach, guide and support your team on a daily basis, including providing formal and informal programmes of teaching to colleagues and other care professionals
•    A genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct 
•    A respectful, courteous and compassionate nature 

What you’ll be doing
•    Taking responsibility for the well-being of our residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met
•    Leading, motivating and mentoring to your team to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home
•    Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating individualised care plans for each of our residents 
•    Monitoring work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies and legislation
