Full Time - 40 hours per week Up to £17.00 per hour / £35,360

Eclypse Recruitment is looking to recruit a permanent Staff Nurse or RMN to work day shifts in an independent hospital based near Hull.

The Client:

You will be working in an independent hospital with 41 beds for men across three individual units. It provides needs-led services for people with functional or organic diagnoses on an informal or detained basis. Units are split into groups for working age and older adults. The hospital deals with the below cases:

  • Alcohol related Dementia (Korsakoff's)
  • Alzheimer's
  • Behaviours that challenge
  • Dual Diagnosis
  • Forensic History
  • Pick's Disease
  • Vascular Dementia
  • Working Age DementiaThe Role:

You'll be equipped with a current NMC registration,Mental Health Nurse or LD (Learning Disabilities) and knowledge of the most up to date clinical practices, particularly in relation to dementia. Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, plus an understanding of CQC regulatory frameworks, DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines is essential. Ideally, you'll also have a teaching or mentoring qualification, and experience of supporting newly qualified nurses.

Working in Mental Health and Dementia, you will be expected to provide an environment that is conducive to the needs of our patients and ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. You will be given ongoing development and training. We are looking for an outstanding Staff Nurse to help our client provide the delivery of the highest-quality mental health and dementia nursing care to their patients. You will be responsible for to making sure that each and every resident's psychological, physical and social needs are met - and that they are treated with dignity and respect. You will be provided with a tailor-made plan for development. You'll undertake an individually designed training programme on the care of adults with diverse and complex needs due to mental health issues, brain injury or dementia. If you don't already have a nursing degree, we'll also support you to work towards your degree. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious, experienced Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
