Job Description

RSCN - Paediatric Community Nurse - Complex Care - East London / Essex borders - Paying up to £45,000 per annum

I am currently recruiting for a highly skilled, professional RSCN who is looking for a new Paediatric Community Nurse role within East London and Essex borders. The successful RSCN will have a desire to successfully lead, manage and develop paediatric care packages.

My client are ideally looking for a RSCN who has previous experience working within the community, ITU or HDU. However nurses without this experience will still be considered, but will be working along side a trainer for the first few months of the role who will enable them to gain the necessary skills.This includes using ventilators within a home care environment.

The role is to cover East London and Essex borders, and entails working with a caseload of patients for four days a week - and one day where the successful RSCN will complete care plans and admin duties in the head office.

Responsibilities or the successful RSCN Paediatric Community Nurse include:

•Maintaining high standards of service delivery, in accordance with CQC, NMC and other professional standard
•Ensuring a high level customer/client satisfaction through excellent communication, trouble-shooting difficulties, proactively managing expectations and creating solutions for clients
•Ensuring that clients, families and carers remain central to our service
•Clinical advice and guidance for clients, families, and care assistants
•Ensure the accuracy of all clinical records and data completed within our paediatric care package
•To provide expertise on all paediatric clinical issue
•To provide a professional service to the company
•To play a role in the continuous development of the company

As a RSCN Paediatric Community Nurse you must:

•Be confident, with the ability to communicate and present at all level
•Have a RSCN qualification with a valid NMC PIN
•Be computer literate, able to prioritise and deliver results
•Have strong organisational skills, including risk management
•Have previous healthcare background, with a passion for clinical excellence
•Be eligible to work in the UK
•Management experience/qualification preferred
•Have post registration nursing experience
