Are you looking for a good work-life balance and a substantial “Golden Hello”? Come and work for us!
We are a friendly team that looks after about 11,000 patients. We currently have a vacancy for a salaried GP to join our practice for 4-8 sessions per week on either a permanent or maternity locum basis. We can be flexible around the timing and rota and can provide mentorship for newly qualified GPs. Our current extended hours commitment is reducing as we enter a new NHS contract in October, so you will be finishing by 5pm most days, and have no weekend working.
There are 3 partners and 3 salaried GPs (one currently on maternity leave), and our practice is growing as new housing is developed nearby.
Our team includes 3 skilled Advanced Nurse prescribing Practitioners who undertake telephone triage every day as well as chronic disease management which greatly reduces the burden of work. Our reception team are also very experienced and it is uncommon to see minor illness or non-urgent problems on-call. A fair share of on-call for a 4-8 session doctor would be 1-2 sessions a week.
Other benefits include:
We pride ourselves on providing patients with an accessible, patient centered service. With a younger patient demographic and access arrangements tailored to suit patient needs you’ll be working alongside a great team.
Please feel free arrange an informal visit by calling our Practice Manager Steve Smith on ( Phone number removed ) or email ( Email address removed )
