Senior Administrative Officer – HMP High Down - £26,300 per annum – Full Time Permanent

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join their team in HMP Highdown.

The Role

The purpose of this post is to ensure the smooth administration of the service. The expectation is to supervise all the admin staff within Surrey and Lewes service. Reporting to the Data Manager and supported by the Service Manager

You will have excellent communication skills, and proven experience of managing your own time and workload in a busy, high pressure environment.  You will often be the first point of contact within the department, so will be confident dealing with people from all walks of life, friendly and professional.

You will have demonstrable experience of working in an administration role, with extensive experience of MS Office systems, including Word, Excel and Outlook. It will be extremely beneficial if you have experience of working within a confidential environment as well as an understanding of the client group.

A Diploma or equivalent in Business or Admin, or the willingness to work towards one, is also desirable.
