Speciality Doctor - CAMHS - Acute Psychiatric Hospital - Birmingham, West Midlands - Up to £80,000 per annum dependent on experience

Contract: Permanent, 22.5 hours per week

My client is one of the region's largest psychiatric hospital which is well known for providing expert care across their specialist and varied wards. They are currently looking for a dedicated Speciality Doctor to work within a CAMHS setting.

The hospital itself delivers care over wards including CAMHS, Acute, PICU, and EDU. The hospital cares for young people between 12 and 18 in their 17 private rooms. They also have a dedicated HDU for those who require intensive treatment.

The hospital is currently recruiting for a CAMHS Speciality Doctor to treat those on their CAMHS service and work to develop and build the care provision in this ever-expanding facility.

As a Speciality Doctor - CAMHS you will be:

  • Passionate about delivering first class care
  • Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a dedicated MDT
  • Experienced in working in inpatients settings of people with significant mental health needs

The ideal Speciality Doctor - CAMHS will possess the following:

  • MBBS qualification or equivalent
  • GMC registered
  • Proven experience in mental health and knowledge of the MHA in service provision with adults
  • Experience working in inpatient settings of people with significant mental health difficulties
