Staff Nurse   Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery   Central London       Permanent, FT - 37.5 hrs         Up to £36,000 plus enhancements This is a days only role however flexibility is required to do an occasional night shift if needed. Are you an experienced Surgical Nurse looking for a new challenge?     Do you like the idea of working for a private hospital in state of the art facilities?   TTM have an exciting opportunity based in Central London…     TTM are currently recruiting some surgical nurses to work in a very prestigious private hospital in Central London. They have several units spanned across two prestigious areas of London focused on providing world-class treatment to their patients. They have an expansive team of over 300 consultants who are supported by expertly qualified nurses offering care in various specialities including: Diagnostic & Radiology services, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Urology, Cosmetic, Dialysis & Endoscopy. The hospital itself has 250 beds, 12 theatres and endoscopy suite and a large ICU department.         Opportunities:         We are currently looking to recruit some nurses to work in the Plastics and Reconstructive ward of the hospital. On this ward they cover a range of cosmetic surgical procedures covering breast, facial and body. They also cover all aspects of plastics surgery both oncological and trauma.   Working alongside the Senior Staff Nurses on the ward you will be responsible for ensuring the right standard of care is provided to all patients at all time. Your responsibility will cover all aspects of acute patient care, often including comorbidity and post-surgery recovery. You will have an innate ability to quickly identify any issues or concerns and act accordingly. Part of your role will involve receiving patients from ICU and HDU and monitoring complex conditions. Working as part of the team you will be competent across Venepuncture, Cannulation and Phlebotomy, carrying out these tasks on a daily basis while maintaining a safe environment for patients under your care. You will also be assigned other ad hoc duties as required by senior members of staff   To be considered for this role you will have at least one years' experience working in a surgical setting and ideally with experience of plastics/cosmetics. You will have experience with IV, Phlebotomy and Cannulation however training can be offered in certain areas if necessary to enthusiastic candidates. You will be a caring and compassionate nurse with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
