Job Description

RGNs required for a busy OUTPATIENTS unit in Northampton!! x1 FT Position and x1 Part time position available. Are you a Registered Nurse with recent experience within Surgery or Outpatients?   Are you looking to take the next step in your career with an employer that puts work-life balance at the heart of its staffing strategy?   This busy outpatients department has a very varied caseload and nurses will be expected to care for patients after surgeries including Orthopaedics, General Surgeries, Cancer Care, Ophthalmic's and ENT to name a few. You will be required to undertake all of the usual Outpatient Nurse duties including Phlebotomy, Complex Wound care, Venepuncture, Bladder scanning and be a strong team player. You will have recent experience within an acute Nursing environment, caring for patients undergoing surgical procedures.  The Hospital in question performs Orthopaedic, Cosmetic, Ophthalmic, Gynae and General surgery, and you will also get the chance to work with some of the best Consultants in the UK.   This is full time position, paying between up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience), and will involve working across early & late shifts, with 2 Saturday mornings per month. Services run between 8am - 9pm Monday - Friday and 08:30am - 13:00 on Saturdays.   • Nursing degree/ Diploma
  • Current valid NMC PIN
  • Referees from previous employments including at least one clinical reference and current employer
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Experience of Surgical Nursing duties
