Staff Nurse Haematology Central London     Permanent, FT - 37.5 hrs       Up to £36,000 plus enhancements Are you an experienced Acute Nurse looking for a new challenge?   Do you like the idea of working in a caring and compassionate role such as Haematology? TTM have an exciting opportunity based in Central London…   Client Information: Our client is one of London's leading private hospitals with over 30 years of experience providing world class healthcare. The hospital is a specialist provider of cardiac, cancer and neurology care to adults and children, including young babies. With their state of the art facilities spanned across various clinic sites they are able to offer the most advanced treatments to their patients. Opportunities:       We are currently looking to recruit a Staff nurse to work on the Haematology ward of this hospital.  On this ward they support patients through their diagnosis, treatment and aftercare and they currently offer a range of treatments including Radiotherapy, Phlebotomy, Transfusions, Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplants to name a few. The unit's primary focus in haematology cancers they are also equipped to treat other types of blood disorders. Reporting into senior members of staff you will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standard of care is provided to patients at all times. You will act as an advocate for your patients, recognising and adhering to their needs and the needs of their families at all times. You will provide specialist support to patients whilst adopting a holistic approach to their care. Part of your day to day will include Phlebotomy, IV and Cannulation, you will also comply and promote infection control standards and co-ordinate with other team members to ensure patients to be re admitted are rescheduled and booked according to procedure. You will also be assigned other ad hoc duties by senior members of staff as per ward requirements. Working hours are based on a rotational shift pattern        To be considered for this role you will:      
  • Experience of working in an acute setting
  • Haematology experience is desirable but candidates with a passion to work in this area will be considered
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • A passion to work in the field along with a can do attitude
  • Adhere to confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
