Community based Support Worker
Monday to Friday. Full time / Part time. School Hours
We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker based in an High Wycombe. This role will be Supporting young people with autism or learning disabilities in the community or an educational setting. The role will involve getting to know the individual learners, engaging the young people in activities, ensuring their safety and well being and providing a positive and encouraging role model for the young people.
The duties involved for a support worker; to work 2:1 with a student out in the community, build a bond and engage with them in activities, encouraging and supporting them in their education and to promote their independence.
This role can be a flexible rota around worker availability. Shift times vary from 9.00-16.00 to 10.00-14.00.
This Support worker position is a really rewarding role for anyone who like working with vulnerable young people.
Suitable candidates for this Support worker position would have experience working with autism and be driven to providing the best possible standards of care. Training is provided.
