You will be supporting people to do their favourite things and try new activities such as going swimming, going to discos, transporting individuals to and from day activities, providing sensory activities, having days out, visiting local places of interest and attending local community activities. We ensure that people we support live fulfilling and stimulating lives and do everything they want to do.
You will be supporting people with learning and physical disabilities, this can be a challenging yet highly rewarding role. You will support people with all aspects of their daily living from assisting people with personal care, helping them at meal times, and aiding them in their use of a wheelchair.
The individuals we support at this service enjoy a lot of community access, so confidence in lone working is essential. We are therefore looking for Support Workers with previous experience who can hit the ground running. However we will still provide a full training programme that is specific to the needs of the individuals we support.
