Job Description

FULL AND PART TIME FEMALE SUPPORT WORKERS / CARERS REQUIRED

We are seeking FEMALE SUPPORT WORKERS to care for a lady with a SPINAL CORD INJURY living on her own in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham.

Rate of pay: £9.00 per hour days / £9.50 per hour waking nights

Shift Pattern: 12 hour day shifts / 12 hour waking night shifts

Benefits including: 28 Days Holiday Pay, Company Sick Pay, Membership of a Health Cash Plan, Double Time Pay on Bank Holidays, Payment to attend all Training.

You would be working for a specialist care team for a company who provides support for individuals who live within their own homes. This particular lady (whom you will be supporting) is very active and the role will include accompanying her to work and social activities.

Support Worker Essential Criteria:

The right candidates must be flexible, motivated, reliable and committed.

A full, manual driving license is essential and you must be a confident driver, to include motorway driving.

You will be working within a team providing care and support all year round, including weekends and bank holidays.

Previous care experience would be advantageous, but is not essential as full specialist training will be provided.
