Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Operating Theatre (Orthopaedic Scrub) Practitioner to join our client's busy perioperative team. The hospital is based in leafy surroundings in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, a desirable greenbelt community with strong local schools and excellent parks.
This is a full-time role. Our client is open to hearing from practitioners seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity, but rigid rostering cannot be accommodated.

Our client is a major provider of independent healthcare in the UK; working with many of the Home Counties' most experienced Consultants and other healthcare specialists, this centre of excellence offers exceptional Acute Surgical and Critical Care with the aid of state-of-the-art equipment. The successful candidate will demonstrate competency across an array of perioperative skills, and will be committed to ongoing professional development.

Person requirements:
RGN or Operating Department Practitioner with full registration with the NMC or HCPC as applicable.
At least one year's experience in Operating Theatres; including capable and articulate graduate ODPs with Orthopaedic Scrub skills.
An External Advanced Scrub Practitioner qualification would be an advantage.
