Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides integrated acute and community Healthcare in the West Midlands serving a population of 260,000 residents. TRUST MIDDLE GRADE – ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY
With 3 months rotation in INTENSIVE CARE/PAEDIATRICS & ACUTE MEDICINE
Salary Scale: £37.574 - £70,018 per annum depending on experience

We are seeking to appoint 3 full time Middle Grade Doctors to work in the department of Accident & Emergency the post is for 3 years and will consist of 9 months in A&E with a 3 month rotation in ITU/Paediatrics & Acute Medicine. The post is to commence as soon as possible. The appointable candidate will be working 10 Programmed Activities per week with an additional 4 Programmed Activities for on call duties. The rotation in ITU/Paediatrics/AMU will be working 9am – 5pm during the week and will partake in the A&E weekend on call rota.
The successful candidates must possess a basic medical qualification (ie MBBS or equivalent) and hold full registration with the GMC together with a Licence to Practice. Relevant up to date experience and qualifications to undertake duties at middle grade level is essential. The ability to carry out a full range of Accident & Emergency practical procedures commensurate with register level is also required. ATLS/ALS/APLS are all essential. A higher scientific or medical qualification is desirable.
