If you are a positive, bubbly, out-going and enthusiastic person, with a genuine desire to add value to people's lives, then we want to hear from you!

We are looking for Support Workers to provide care and support, both for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, and also for older people, in Colchester.

So what will you be doing all day?

We have a vacancy to support four people every Saturday, from approximately 8.00am until 5.30pm.

  1. Male, with physical disability: Your role is to help him get dressed, put on his shoes, make him his breakfast and be a companion for an hour.
  1. Female with learning disability: To make her a coffee, perform certain household chores, and to generally offer companionship.
  1. Female elder care: To perform certain housework duties plus to help with her shopping.
  1. Male with learning disability: To help him access the community and visit certain shops.
  1. Male with physical disability: To make him his tea, help him get undressed and into his night-clothes.

This is a role that would suit someone with an outgoing personality and a genuine desire to add value to people's lives. These attributes are more important than experience, as full training will be given at our state-of-the-art office in Clacton.

This is a weekend position, working mainly on Saturdays.

Must have an out-going personality, and a willingness to work across all services.

A driving-licence plus access to a vehicle are strongly preferred but not essential
